Terms of Service
Effective the nineteenth of May, in the year two thousand and twenty-six.
Let the following stand as a courteous understanding between the reader and the house, set down so that neither party need wonder what the other intends.
Use of the Library
The reader is welcome to use these pages for personal, lawful purposes — to consult the reviews, to follow the comparisons, and to draw what counsel may be drawn from them. The systematic scraping of the catalogue, the republication of its prose without leave, or any conduct that would inconvenience other readers is, however, not within the spirit of the house.
Editorial Content & Affiliate Notices
The reviews and recommendations gathered here are opinions, formed in good faith from hands-on use of the instruments under discussion. Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning the house may receive a small consideration should a reader proceed to purchase; this arrangement is disclosed openly and in no way alters the editorial judgement set down in these pages.
Intellectual Property
The original prose, illustrations, plates, and arrangement of The Chartmaker’s Library are the property of the house and are protected by copyright. The names, logos, and marks of the chart-making tools we review remain, of course, the property of their respective owners, and appear here under the customary licence of honest comment.
Limitation of Warranty
Our work is offered as-is, in the spirit of an honest catalogue. We make no guarantee that a recommended instrument will suit every reader's purpose, nor that any particular plan, price, or feature will remain unchanged after we have set the entry to type; the prudent reader will verify the present-day details with the vendor before committing funds.
Caveat lector — let the reader beware, but never without counsel.
Correspondence
A reader with a question, a dispute, or a correction is invited to write to [email protected]. We answer in turn, and with the same care we give to the catalogue itself.
